Sign-ups have begun for our winter session of Discovery Bible Groups (DBGs)! If you’re looking for a way to meet more of our wonderful RCC women, interested in learning a new way to study the Word, or eager to continue applying the DBG method to a new section of Scripture, DBGs are for you!
We will be studying Philippians together for eight weeks, beginning the week of January 28. Click here to sign up! Your facilitator will be in touch with your study guide and additional information in the coming weeks.
A few FAQs are below. If you have other questions, please reach out to Lauren Currier at email@example.com.
Q: How much homework is there? Do I need to buy a book/workbook?
A: The only book you need for DBG is your Bible (and a journal). We focus directly on the Scripture, and you can devote as much time as you choose to meditating on the passages throughout the week.
Q: I may have to miss a week or two. Can I still sign up? A: Yes! We’d rather have you come a few times than not at all!
Q: Is there childcare?
A: We aren’t able to offer childcare, but nursing infants who are not yet mobile (up until about 6 months or so) are welcome in all of our groups! Aubrey Russi is also happy to include moms and young toddlers in her Wednesday morning group. (But there is no dedicated childcare in this group either, so be prepared to do what you already do best and multitask!)
Q: Can I invite a friend or neighbor who does not attend RCC?
A: Yes! DBGs are a great way to “live on mission” and reach out to other people in your sphere of influence. Just let us know they’re coming!
